PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an electric reel system in which an electric reel is miniaturized and reduced in weight, and the motion and the range of a fisherman are prevented from being restricted.SOLUTION: An electric reel system 2 includes an electric reel 4, an electricity supply device 6, a communication unit 8 and a motor control unit 10. The electric reel 4 has a reel body 12, a motor 14 supported to the reel body 12, a spool 16 rotationally driven by the motor 14, a rotation detection unit 18 for detecting the rotation of the spool 16, an operation unit 20 for operating the motor 14, and a display information generation unit 22a capable of generating display information from the detected rotation of the spool 16. The communication unit 8 is capable of wireless transmission of display information to a general-purpose display device DS, and is intended to make the display information be displayed only in the display device DS. The motor control unit 10 controls the motor 14 according to the operation of the operation unit 20. The communication unit 8 and the motor control unit 10 are provided at least in any one of the electricity supply device 6 and the electric reel 4.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
