The invention relates to a tilling device (1) for tilling ground surfaces (5), in particular lawn surfaces, comprising at least one machine frame (10), at least one supporting device (4) which supports the machine frame (10) on the ground (7), multiple tools (6) which can be lifted and lowered relative to the machine frame (10) and thus can dig into the ground and be pulled out again, and at least one adjusting device (12) which adjusts the distance between the supporting device (4) and the machine frame (10) in the vertical direction in order to adjust the digging depth of the tools (6) into the ground. According to the invention, the adjusting device additionally adjusts the distance between the supporting device (4) and the tools (6).
