A pre-metering system is provided for feeding different types of seed into aseedmeter of a planter. The pre-metering system may include separate feeder wheelsthat areselectively rotated to deliver different types of seed from on-row storageinto the seedmeter at a given time. The feeder wheels may be supported by a feeder wheelcarrier thatmay also support various wall and ramped structures, such as upright dividerwalls andsloped walls that maintain separation between the different types of seeds inthe on-rowstorage and direct the different types of seed toward the individual feederwheels.
