The syringe (1.1) has a piston receiver for receiving a syringe piston. An outlet is arranged at a bottom part of a syringe cylinder (2.1), and a cylindrical piston running portion is connected with the outlet. A centering portion (11.1) is provided at distance of 3 mm from an upper end of the cylinder for insertion of a centering element, where inner diameter of the centering element exceeds inner diameter of the running portion. A coupling piece (21.1) is arranged at an upper end of the syringe piston for insertion into the piston receiver. The centering element is designed as a centering tube, a centering sleeve or a centering ring. An independent claim is also included for a dosing device for use with a syringe.
