PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide extracts from aquatic animal tissues, the extract having an excellent anti-aging effect (particularly, an anti-inflammatory effect, a skin barrier function improving effect, and a skin water retention improving effect) to the skin, and to provide food and drink compositions, oral compositions, and cosmetic compositions which contain the extracts.SOLUTION: The present invention relates to fish cartilage water extract containing proteoglycan with a molecular weight of 1,800,000 or more, or fish cartilage water extract containing proteoglycan with a molecular weight of 2,500,000 or more, or 5,000,000 or more.
