PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a photosynthesis experiment unit for experimenting a phenomenon of absorbing carbon dioxide by the photosynthesis of a plant and releasing carbon dioxide by its respiration.SOLUTION: The photosynthesis experiment unit is provided by putting-in plants as clustered in a hermetically closed container, using a small-sized fluorescent lamp 9 as a light source for causing the photosynthesis, covering the hermetically closed container with a cover 1 so that the light from the light source may effectively reach the plants, and stretching a silver-colored reflection sheet 3 on the reverse side of the cover 1. A small window 7 for confirmation is attached to the cover 1 so as to confirm that the light reaches to the back side of leaves performing a big action on the photosynthesis of the plants. Further, a removable lid 2 is attached to the cover 1 for stopping the photosynthesis by making a dark environment and making the plants only respire. Further, a COmonitor 6 for numerically knowing the decrease (increase) of the carbon dioxide by the photosynthesis or respiration, a thermometer with hygrometer 5 for knowing the temperature condition and humidity condition of the photosynthesis or respiration, and a digital clock for knowing the passage of time are provided.【課題】植物の光合成により二酸化炭素を吸収し、呼吸により二酸化炭素を放出する現象を実験するための光合成実験ユニットを提供する。【解決手段】密閉容器に植物を密集させて入れ、光合成を起こすための光源として小型の蛍光灯９を使用し、光源からの光を有効に植物に当たるように密閉容器にはカバー１で覆い、このカバー１の裏側には銀色の反射シート３を張る。植物の光合成に大きな作用をしている葉の裏側まで光が当たっていることを確認するためにカバー１には確認用の小窓７を付ける。また、真っ暗な環境を作って光合成を止め、呼吸のみをさせるためにはこのカバー１には取り外しのできる蓋２を付ける。さらに光合成または呼吸による二酸化炭素の減少（増加）が数値的に分かるようにＣＯ２モニター６、光合成または呼吸の温度条件、湿度条件が分かるように温湿度計５と時間経過が分かるようにデジタル時計を設ける。【選択図】図３
