An anchor for an implantable sensing device, a sensor unit formed by the anchor and sensing device, and a surgical procedure for implanting the sensor unit for monitoring a physiological parameter within a cavity of a living body, such as an intracranial physiological property. The anchor includes a shank portion and a head portion. The shank portion defines a distal end of the anchor and has a bore defining an opening at the distal end. The head portion defines a proximal end of the anchor and has a larger cross-sectional dimension than the shank portion. The sensor unit comprises the anchor and the sensing device placed and secured within the bore of the anchor so that a sensing element of the sensing device is exposed for sensing the physiological parameter within the cavity.La présente invention concerne une ancre pour dispositif de détection implantable, une unité de capteur formée par ladite ancre et ledit dispositif de détection, et une procédure chirurgicale permettant dimplanter lunité de capteur afin de réaliser la surveillance dun paramètre physiologique dans une cavité dun organisme vivant, telle quune propriété physiologique intracrânienne. Ladite ancre inclut une portion de tige et une portion de tête. Ladite portion de tige définit une extrémité distale de lancre et présente un orifice définissant une ouverture sur lextrémité distale. La portion de tête définit une extrémité proximale de lancre et présente une dimension transversale supérieure à la portion de tige. Lunité de capteur comprend lancre et le dispositif de détection placé et fixé dans lorifice de lancre, si bien quun élément de détection du dispositif de détection est exposé afin de permettre la détection du paramètre physiologique dans la cavité.
