PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a fuel-efficient seedling transplanter whose fuel consumption during the work is suppressed.SOLUTION: The seedling transplanter includes: an engine 20 and a hydraulic continuously variable transmission 23 in a traveling body 2; a seedling planting device 52 in the rear of the traveling body 2 for planting seedling in a field; and a speed change operation lever 8 for operating the forward/backward movement of a machine body and the traveling speed by changing the output of the hydraulic continuously variable transmission 23.
