PURPOSE: A composition for diagnosing gastric cancer and a pharmaceutical composition for treating cancer are provided to simply and effectively diagnose gastric cancer. CONSTITUTION: A composition for diagnosing gastric cancer contains an agent which is able to measure mRNA or protein level of a gene selected from gene overexpressed in vascular endothelial cells of gastric cancer. The agent for measuring mRNA level is a primer pair or probe. The agent for measuring protein level is a specific antibody. Gastric cancer is diagnosed by measuring mRNA level in biological sample using the specific primer pair or probe. The biological sample is vascular endothelial cell. A pharmaceutical composition for treating gastric cancer contains an inhibitor of neutropilin 2. 본 발명은 정상 위 점막에 비해 위암 유래 혈관 내피세포에서 과발현되는 것으로 규명된 유전자(표 2)의 발현량을 mRNA 또는 단백질 수준에서 측정하는 제제를 포함하는 위암 진단용 조성물 및 이를 이용하여 위암을 진단하는 방법에 관한 것이다. 또한, 본 발명은 뉴로필린2(Neuropilin2)의 억제제를 포함하는 위암 치료용 약제학적 조성물에 관한 것이다.
