Absorbent articles improve body exudation treatment. The absorbent article can minimize the amount of body exudates in contact with the wearer''s skin and can minimize the extent to which body exudates leak from the absorbent articles. The advantages of the absorbent article are achieved in part by the body facing material having features that help to minimize contact of the wearer''s skin with body exudates while the body facing material is configured to not stick to the wearer''s skin in use. The body opposing material comprises a plurality of hollow protrusions, a plurality of perforations and joined areas.
