The present invention relates to an animal handling device, the device including a base for an animal to be restrained, and a first wall, and a second wall, the second wall being pivotably moveable relative to the first wall, wherein the first and second walls define a clamping area therebetween, characterised in that the first wall is fixed to the base at an angle away from a vertical orientation.
