The subject matter of the present disclosure relates to Fc receptor-like 5 (FcRL5), for example, a chimeric antigen receptor (CAR) that specifically targets domain 9 of FcRL5, and immune response cells comprising such CAR. CARs that target FcRL5 of the present disclosure have enhanced immune activation properties, including anti-tumor activity.
