PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a hair treatment agent that suppresses reduction in initial elasticity and breaking strength of the hair.

SOLUTION: The hair treatment agent includes a combination of one or more materials selected from amideamine, shea butter, shea oil, babassu oil and passion vine seed oil. As the amideamine, a fatty acid amideamine represented by formula (1): R1-CO-NH-(CH)n-NR2R3(wherein R1represents a 11-25C hydrocarbon group or hydroxy hydrocarbon group, n is an integer of 1-4, R2represents a &le3C alkyl or hydroxyalkyl group, and R3represents a &le3C alkyl or hydroxyalkyl group) is preferably used.
