The use of agricultural machinery leads to better utilization of inputs and improvements in agricultural operations. The farming sector of India majorly comprises of small land holders, who cannot afford buying big and fully automated Onion harvesters. This invention provides a tractor driven onion harvester by using angle adjustment mechanism which harvests onions, separates soil from onions and collects onions on field in one row. As only very essentials functions are incorporated, the cost of equipment is lower than automatic and semi-automatic onion harvesters currently available in market. This equipment provides digging angle changing mechanism, which makes it multipurpose too. This machine is effective and efficient alternative to existing machines and traditional onion harvesting by saving time, efforts and money of farmers.
