PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a remote operation system which can be simply configured and miniaturized even while having excellent force recognition performance and operability.

SOLUTION: The remote operation system has an operation part to be operated by an operator, a work part provided on a position away from the operation part and operated accompanying the operation of the operation part, and an energy converter respectively connected to the operation part and the work part. The energy converter includes a first converter for converting mechanical energy inputted from the operation part to electric energy, and a second converter for converting the electric energy obtained from the first converter to the mechanical energy and transmitting it to the work part, the first converter and the second converter are provided in one electric circuit, and force inputted to the operation part and force outputted from the work part are in proportional relation.
