A compression foot cuff includes a counterforce component (36,136) adjacent to a first impermeable layer of an inflatable member (14,114). The counterforce component includes a generally rigid sole (38,138) for applying a counterforce to the inflatable member and an anchor member (40,140) extending outward from the sole.
