PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a handpiece which provides higher mechanical power.SOLUTION: Provided is a compressed air handpiece including a handle (32) connected to a head (34) housing a turbine (36). The turbine (36) includes a moving wheel (38) from a periphery (40) of which extends a plurality of blades (42) which define an outer diameter (44) of the moving wheel (38). The handpiece (30) also includes injection means, whose function is to direct onto the blades (42) of the moving wheel (38) a compressed air flow whose pneumatic energy is converted into kinetic energy when the compressed air flow strikes the blades (42) of the moving wheel (38). In the handpiece (30), the compressed air injection means takes the form of an independent insert (46) inside which is arranged a compressed air flow feed pipe (48) and which is mounted inside the handle (32) of the handpiece (30).【課題】より高い機械的動力を提供するハンドピースを提供する。【解決手段】タービン（３６）を格納するヘッド（３４）に接続されたハンドル（３２）を有する圧縮空気ハンドピース。上記タービン（３６）は、可動ホイール（３８）を有し、その周縁部（４０）からは可動ホイール（３８）の外径（４４）を形成する複数のブレード（４２）が延在している。上記ハンドピース（３０）は、噴射手段も有し、この噴射手段の機能は、可動ホイール（３８）のブレード（４２）上へと圧縮空気流を配向することであり、圧縮空気流が可動ホイール（３８）のブレード（４２）に衝突することにより圧縮空気流の空圧エネルギが運動エネルギに変換される。上記ハンドピース（３０）は、圧縮空気噴射手段が独立したインサート（４６）の形態を採り、このインサート（４６）の内部には圧縮空気流供給パイプ（４８）が設けられ、またこのインサート（４６）はハンドピース（３０）のハンドル（３２）内部に設置されていることを特徴とする。【選択図】図２
