The present invention relates to a device for controlling flow of a molten liquid at precise low flow rates. In particular, the device is used in the field of fluid dynamics where molten liquid and controlled flowrate is required. The said device consists of a metal container with top and bottom nozzles with on-off valves, a syringe pump and a non-conducting pipe to connect syringe pump with a metal container. The metal container is attached with an option of heating and controlling the temperature of the molten liquid. The controlled flow-rate of the molten liquid on the rotating disc decides the granule size during slag granulation. An added advantage is the molten liquid does not come in contact with any redundant surface.
