PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a self-expansion type stent in which, when the self-expansion type stent is expanded at a target region, an anchor member comes into contact with a blood vessel wall or a digestive organ wall at an optimum position, and a gap hardly occurs between the anchor member and the blood vessel wall or the digestive organ wall so that the self-expansion type stent is unlikely to be displaced from the target region.SOLUTION: In a self-expansion type stent 1 in which a plurality of element wires 10 and 11 are knitted together, a first anchor member 20 is attached to the tip 12 of at least one element wire 10. A tip 22 of the first anchor member 20 is fixed to the tip 12 of the at least one element wire 10, and the rear end 24 is not fixed to the at least one element wire 10, and is a free end.
