PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an antibody against a 6-sulfo sugar chain having 2-6 bonded sialic acids, and also an examination means or a treating means of malignant diseases such as cancer and immune diseases by using the antibody.SOLUTION: This antibody having 6-sulfo sugar chain as a recognition sugar chain in which the sialic acid bond is 2-6 bond, is successfully established, and as a result of the examination of cancer tissue by using the antibody, it is found that the antibody reacts with a 2-6 sialyl 6-sulfo sugar chain expressed in the cancer tissue and not reacting with a 2-3 sialyl 6-sulfo sugar chain.COPYRIGHT: (C)2008,JPO&INPIT【課題】 2-6結合のシアル酸を有する6-スルホ糖鎖に対する抗体を提供し、あわせて、この抗体を用いた癌などの悪性疾患及び免疫疾患の検査手段や治療手段を提供する。【解決手段】認識糖鎖が6-スルホ糖鎖であり、かつ認識糖鎖中のシアル酸の結合が2-6結合である抗体を新規に樹立することに成功し、この抗体を用いて癌組織を検査した結果、本発明の抗体は、癌組織に発現する2-6シアリル6-スルホ糖鎖と反応し、2-3シアリル6-スルホ糖鎖とは反応しないことを見出した。【選択図】 なし
