PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve a therapeutic effect of ablation by eliminating variation in the temperature of the surface of a balloon of an ablation catheter with a balloon which cauterizes tissue.SOLUTION: The ablation catheter system with a balloon having a catheter shaft 2a, the balloon 3 attached to the catheter shaft 2a, a lumen 4 penetrating the catheter shaft 2a in a major axis direction and communicating with the interior of the balloon, a heating electrode 9 arranged in the balloon, a heating device 13 applying electrical energy to the heating electrode 9, and a vibration imparting device 6 imparting vibration to a heating liquid by periodically repeating the suction and discharge of the heating liquid from the lumen 4.
