The elongated tubular member includes a proximal portion, a distal portion, and an articulation section. The articulation section is disposed between the distal portion and the proximal portion and enables the distal portion to move relative to the proximal portion. A driving force mechanism includes a handle member, a driving element disposed in the proximal portion, a transmission bar disposed in the distal portion, and a transmission device disposed in the articulation section. The transmission device receives driving force from the driving element, rotates about the articulation section, and reorients the driving force toward the transmission bar.
