The purpose of the present invention is to provide a method to process an ultrasound image and an ultrasound apparatus therefore, to determine a measurement tool according to an input of a user and to measure a subject indicated on the ultrasound image by using the determined measurement tool. The ultrasound apparatus comprises: a display unit to display a measurement tool image including a plurality of measurement points indicating a point to be measured on the ultrasound image and a control part for controlling the plurality of the measurement points on the ultrasound image a user input unit to receive a touch input to change a position of the control part and a control unit to control at least one position among the plurality of the points based on the position of the changed control part and to obtain a measured value based on a position of the measurement points with at least one controlled measurement point.
