PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a blinking condition detecting device capable of detecting drivers blinking condition with high precision even if detection of change with time of degree of eye opening based on image data is interrupted.
SOLUTION: A blinking condition detection ECU 1 detects drivers degree of eye opening detected from the image data imaged by a face image capturing camera 2. Here, the blinking condition detecting device interpolates a missing part if missing occurs in the detection of degree of eye opening. When interpolating the missing part, change with time of drivers degree of eye opening is stored as history of degree of eye opening for 10 minutes, the sections being similar to front and rear parts of the missing part are searched from the history of degree of eye opening, and the missing part is interpolated, based on waveforms in front and rear parts of the similar sections.
