PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent damage due to collision of flying stones from a field surface or entwining of weeds, with a transmission shaft installed over adjacent planting transmission cases. SOLUTION: This rice transplanter is obtained by arranging a plurality of planting transmission cases 12 provided with seedling planting mechanisms 9 and arranging and fixing each planting transmission case 12 to a transversely directed supporting frame 22 in the planting width direction, respectively. Transmission shafts arranged parallel to the supporting frame 22 are installed over the adjacent planting transmission cases 12 in order to feed power to the seedling planting mechanisms 9.
