According to an embodiment of the present invention, a system for tracking a surgical tool location comprises: a location tracking unit tracking a location of a surgical tool inserted into a body during treatment or surgery； and a display unit in which an ultrasound video obtained by an ultrasound probe and an image of the surgical tool are displayed in real time. When adjusting pressure applied from the ultrasound probe to the surgical instrument, an end location of the surgical instrument can be determined from the image of the surgical instrument displayed in the display unit.일 실시예에 따른 시술도구 위치 추적 시스템은, 시술 또는 수술 시에 체내에 삽입되는 시술도구의 위치를 추적하는 위치 추적부； 및 초음파 프로브에 의해 획득된 초음파 영상 및 시술도구의 이미지가 실시간으로 표시되는 디스플레이부；를 포함하고, 상기 초음파 프로브로부터 상기 시술도구에 인가된 압력 조절 시 상기 디스플레이부에 표시된 시술도구의 이미지로부터 상기 시술도구의 단부 위치가 결정될 수 있다.
