PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a microneedle array holding a medicine only on a tip end of a microneedle, and to provide a manufacturing method thereof.SOLUTION: The microneedle array holding the medicine only at the tip end of the microneedle is manufactured by a microneedle welding method, wherein: (a) making the microneedle array using a water-soluble polymer as a material； (b) preparing a solution of the medicine to be attached on the tip end of the microneedle array； (c) bringing the tip end of the microneedle array into contact with the solution of the medicine for a short time. At that time, if the water-soluble polymer besides the medicine is also dissolved into high concentration to increase the viscosity in the medicine solution, the attached medicine is integrated with the microneedle, and thus, the medicine alone can not be peeled off when inserted.
