A swallowing ability evaluation system performs a frequency analysis of swallowing vibration data obtained by measuring a swallowing vibration of a subject's swallowing sound and/or breathing sound accompanying swallowing motion, and generates a frequency analysis data. And an index value (low frequency index value) related to the low frequency region of the frequency analysis data and an index value related to the high frequency region (high frequency index value) based on the low frequency region data and the high frequency region data included in the frequency analysis data.
