A basket assembly for a harvester includes a body configured to rotate between a product-receiving position and a product-expelling position. The body is configured to receive product through an inlet while the body is in the product-receiving position, and the body is configured to expel the product through an outlet of the body while the body is in the product-expelling position. The basket assembly also includes a lid rotatably coupled to the body and a linkage assembly configured to drive the lid to rotate between a closed position and an open position in response to rotation of the body from the productreceiving position to the product-expelling position. The basket assembly also includes a hood coupled to the lid and/or the linkage.
