PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an air purifying apparatus which does not require a replacement member, can keep the inside of the apparatus clean, and can efficiently prevent odors from being generated.
SOLUTION: This air purifying apparatus 10 includes a gas-liquid contact section 30 which purifies air by bringing air into contact with washing water in a washing tower 20, a water storage tank 100 which is installed below the gas-liquid contact section 30 and stores the washing water, and a circulating means which feeds the washing water in the water storage tank 100 to the gas-liquid contact section 30. In the air purifying apparatus 10, a water flushing means for washing the inside of the washing tower 20 with water is included.
