PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a cable protector for preventing bird damage which can reliably prevent a loose part of a light drop cable from being bitten off by a bird.SOLUTION: The cable protector 10 for preventing bird damage includes: a cylindrical body 11 dividable in two of right and left parts from an upper part when viewed in a longitudinal direction and a projection 12 formed on an inner surface of the body 11, and biting into an outer cover of the light drop cable 1 when the cable protector 10 for preventing bird damage is mounted to the light drop cable 1.
