PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a composition containing collagen peptide and ceramide having a lipid content in which collagen peptide and ceramide are uniformly dispersed in the composition and the brownish discoloration caused during a granulation step and the generation of undesirable odor are suppressed and to provide a method for producing the composition.SOLUTION: The method for producing a composition containing collagen peptide and ceramide comprises granulating collagen peptide and ceramide raw material having a lipid content in the solids of 70 wt% or more each in separate steps to produce a collagen peptide-containing granule and a ceramide-containing granule and then mixing the collagen peptide-containing granule and the ceramide-containing granule under an environment of a water content of 6% or less to produce a composition containing collagen peptide and ceramide. In the composition, the ceramide raw material has a lipid content in the solids of 85% or more and contains phospholipid derived from milk, and the ceramide-containing granule is clathrated in cyclodextrin.
