PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide adipose tissue-derived mesenchymal stem cells useful for treating a disease with a small dose.SOLUTION: Adipose tissue-derived mesenchymal stem cells are obtained by separating mesenchymal stem cells from an adipose tissue, primarily culturing the mesenchymal stem cells with a culture medium containing serum, and culturing and proliferating the mesenchymal stem cells passaged from the primary culture with a serum-free medium. The serum contained in a primary culture medium may be derived from a sample from which the adipose tissue has been collected. In the adipose tissue-derived mesenchymal stem cells, CD73, CD90, CD105, and CD44 may be positive, and CD11b, CD19, CD34, CD45, and HLA-DR may be negative. And, the adipose tissue-derived mesenchymal stem cells may have the differentiation potential to osteoblasts, adipocytes and chondrocytes.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1COPYRIGHT: (C)2017,JPO&INPIT【課題】少量の投与量で疾患の治療に有用な脂肪組織由来間葉系幹細胞を提供する。【解決手段】脂肪組織から間葉系幹細胞を分離し、血清を含む培地で間葉系幹細胞を初代培養し、初代培養から継代された間葉系幹細胞を無血清培地で増殖培養して得られた、脂肪組織由来間葉系幹細胞。初代培養の培地に含まれる血清が、脂肪組織を採取した検体由来の血清であってもよい。当該脂肪組織由来間葉系幹細胞において、CD73、CD90、CD105、及びCD44が陽性であり、CD11b、CD19、CD34、CD45、及びHLA-DRが陰性であってもよい。また、当該脂肪組織由来間葉系幹細胞は、骨芽細胞、脂肪細胞、及び軟骨細胞への分化能を有していてもよい。【選択図】図1
