PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a lightening device for a fancy fish aquarium, having heightened lightening efficiency.SOLUTION: The lightening device 2 is attached to an upper frame part of the fancy fish aquarium 1, and has a fluorescent lamp 3 comprising a straight tube and a reflection body 4 for reflecting the light beam from the fluorescent lamp 3 to the fancy fish aquarium side 1. The reflection body 4 comprises a half-divided cylindrical member installed along the fluorescent lamp 3.
