According to one embodiment of the present invention, a method for classifying shockable and non-shockable rhythms by using a support vector machine (SVM) comprises the following steps of: collecting a heartbeat signal of an inspected person； extracting a predetermined number of feature value candidates from the collected heartbeat signal； selecting a combination of four feature values among the candidates； and inputting the selected combination of the four feature values to the SVM to distinguish shockable and non-shockable rhythms from the heartbeat signal.본 발명의 일 실시예에 따른 SVM을 이용하여 쇼크 가능한 리듬과 쇼크불가능한 리듬을 분류하는 방법은 피검사자의 심박 신호를 수집하는 단계, 수집된 심박 신호에서 소정 개수의 특징값 후보를 추출하는 단계, 후보 중 4개의 특징값의 조합을 선택하는 단계 및 상기 선택된 4개의 특징값의 조합을 서포트 벡터 머신(SVM) 분류기에 입력하여, 상기 심박 신호에서 쇼크가능한 리듬과 쇼크 불가능한 리듬을 판별하는 단계를 포함할 수 있다.
