A feminine hygiene garment containing a liquid pervious topsheet coated with a nonuniform pattern of a lotion composition is disclosed. The lotion composition is semi-solid or solid at 20° C. and is partially transferable to the wearers skin. The lotion composition is applied to the article in a nonuniform manner, preferably such that there are regions on the articles topsheet that are not coated with lotion. In one embodiment the nonuniform pattern is a plurality of stripes of lotion that are separated by a plurality of stripes having no lotion.
