PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide model animals and experimental animals expressing human insulin receptor having advantage in cost, having no ethical problem, requiring no long term keeping, and realizing preferable discussion for a substance reducing the blood glucose level, and to provide an evaluation method and screening method for the hypoglycemic substance having advantage in cost and having no ethical problem.SOLUTION: A transgenic silkworm having a feature that it expresses human insulin receptor is produced.
