The portable cooling element is arranged to cool the cooling area to a desired temperature interval. The portable cooling device (200) further comprises heat evacuating means (240) arranged to evacuate heat from the cooling element. The portable cooling device (200) also comprises a battery (250) arranged to provide power to the portable cooling device. The portable cooling device (200) additionally comprises control circuitry (260) arranged to control the portable cooling device.
