PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a urine absorber for a pet, capable of improving the storage property and transportability by reducing the occupying space necessary for storage.SOLUTION: The urine absorber includes a urine absorbent mat 5 and a strip-shaped sheet body 6. The urine absorbent mat 5 is used in a flat unfolded state by unfolding the mat in the folded state. The urine absorbent mat 5 includes a front surface sheet 2 with air and water permeability a water-impermeable rear surface sheet 3 joined to the peripheral edge of the front surface sheet 2 and an absorber layer 4 made of fluffed fiber and interposed between the front surface sheet 2 and the rear surface sheet 3. The strip-shaped sheet body 6 has flexibility and water repellency, and the center of the sheet body in the longitudinal direction is fixed to the front surface sheet 2. The sheet body 6 has a joint part at least at one end in the longitudinal direction to be joined to the other end of the sheet body 6 in the longitudinal direction.
