The invention relates to devices for supporting flowers and, more specifically, to devices for securing the upper or middle portions of flower stems, and can be used in the creation of floral compositions consisting of natural or cut flowers to position the flowers in the desired configuration. The convertible flower clip is in the form of a frame with recesses situated around the outside edge thereof for securing the upper portion of the flower stems. The frame is a composite structure that consists of plates having projections and corresponding slots at the ends thereof for forming a slotted joint. The projections on said plates are toothed, have a diametrical section and are provided with fastening collars at their ends. The plate has rounded ends and a bend in the plane of the joint. The recesses are provided with cradles for the flower stems. Using this structure, a floral designer can create different shaped floral compositions at will with the aid of the proposed clip. If necessary, the plates can be fastened together, for example by rivets, an adhesive or welding. This renders the structure more rigid and suitable for particularly large and complex compositions.
