A composition for inducing the differentiation of neural progenitor cells or stem cells into nerve cells contains the quinoxaline derivative or the salt thereof as an active ingredient. The stem cells include embryonic stem cells, embryonic germ cells, adult stem cells, and induced pluripotent stem cells.
