PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a quinoline derivative exhibiting human estrogen receptor activating action.SOLUTION: A quinoline derivative is an amphiphilic, low-molecular-weight compound composed of 1 molecule of quinoline, 1 molecule of valine and 1 molecule of p-coumaric acid and activates an estrogen receptor of a skin cell or a nerve cell. The activation form is antagonistic. Powderizing of the quinoline derivative produces hydrogen gas. Combined use of it with EGF or NGF exhibits a synergistic action. The quinoline derivative is used as water-soluble or oil-soluble cosmetics； also as a neuronal activator for dementia, or a bone or muscle enhancer； and further as a plant activator for promoting the growth of plants.SELECTED DRAWING: None【課題】 エストロゲン受容体活性化作用を呈するキノリン誘導体を提供する。【解決手段】 キノリン誘導体はキノリン１分子、バリン１分子とｐ―クマル酸１分子から構成される両親媒性の低分子化合物であり、皮膚細胞や神経細胞のエストロゲン受容体を活性化させる。活性化型は拮抗型である。また、粉末化により水素ガスを発生させる。さらに、ＥＧＦやＮＧＦとの併用により相乗的な作用も認められる。このキノリン誘導体は水溶性や油溶性の化粧料として利用される。また、認知症の神経活性化剤、骨や筋肉増強剤として利用される。さらに、植物の成長を促進する植物活性化剤としても利用される。【選択図】 なし
