PURPOSE: A cutting device for medicinal stuffs is provided to prevent medicinal stuffs from roughly being cut or torn by a cutting blade by preventing horizontal shaking and movement of cutting blade by the vertical movement of cutting portion. CONSTITUTION: A cutting device comprises a main body(100), a cutting portion(110), a drive motor, a drive transmission member, and a guide portion(120). The main body comprises a working plate(100A), a supporting member(100B), and an exhausting portion(106). The supporting member holds up the lower part of the working plate. The exhausting portion be dented inward the upper side of the working plate and the supporting member. One side of the cutting portion is coupled with the upper side of the working plate by a hinge portion(112). The cutting blade(114) is located on the top of the exhausting portion. The cutting portion moves vertically around the hinge portion at the time of cutting medicinal stuffs. The drive motor is installed on the bottom surface of the working plate by a mounting frame. The drive transmission member is composed of a rotary cam and a connection link. The connection link couples the rotary cam with the cutting portion. In order that the drive transmission member moves vertically the cutting portion, the drive transmission member converts the rotational movement of the drive motor into the vertical movement and transfers the motion to the cutting portion. The guide portion stably guides the vertical motion of the cutting portion.약재를 절단하기 위한 약재 절단장치에 대하여 개시한다. 본 약재 절단장치는 본체, 절단날이 장착되는 절단부, 구동모터 및 구동전달부재로 구성되고, 본체에는 절단부의 상하 운동을 안정되게 안내할 수 있는 안내부가 마련된다.이와 같이 구성된 약재 절단장치에 의하면, 절단부가 약재의 절단을 위해 상하 운동시 안내부에 의해 안내되도록 함으로써 절단부의 상하 운동에 따른 좌우 흔들림 및 절단날의 유동을 방지하여 약재의 절단면이 절단날에 의해 거칠게 절단되거나 찢어지듯 절단되는 현상을 방지할 수 있다.
