PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a tablet printing method and a tablet printing device which perform printing so that printed tablet information can be visually recognized correctly in a state where a tablet is split into two pieces.SOLUTION: A tablet printing device comprises an inkjet printer 10 which takes in printing image data transmitted from a printing image data creation part 18 and prints tablet information in a non-contact manner on both surfaces of a tablet stored in a storage chamber 61 of a tablet magazine 60. The printing image data creation part 19 creates the printing image data on one surface of the tablet by arranging a character string of the tablet information so as to be divided on both sides of a secant of the tablet and rotating the character string by secant angle data calculated by a secant angle calculation part 17, and creates the printing image data on the other surface by mutually changing the character string of the printing image data on the one surface arranged so as to be divided on both sides of the secant to each other on both sides of the secant and rotating the character string by the secant angle data in a direction reverse to the secant angle data for the printing image on the other surface of the tablet.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 14
