PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a mist generator capable of smoothly flowing back condensed liquid.SOLUTION: A beauty instrument includes a shield plate 91 and a shield plate 95 capable of shielding water droplets from moving to a downstream in a mist flow path. The shield plate 91 forms an opening 92 through which mist can pass. The shield plate 95 is provided with a gap between the shield plate 91 in the flow path direction of the mist flow path on a position to be a downstream of the flow path direction in the mist flow path lower than the shield plate 91. The shield plate 95 forms an opening 96 through which mist can pass. A gap between the shield plate 91 and the shield plate 95 forms a transit flow path 100 where mist passing through the opening 92 flows to the opening 96. A flow path cross-section area orthogonal to the flow direction of mist in the transit flow path 100 is equal to or greater than the opening area of the opening 92.
