PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide soft capsule formulations excellent in transparency, and soft capsule formulations capable of maintaining solution stably for a long period of time.SOLUTION: Soft capsule formulations containing hydrophobic gel obtained by gelating hydrophobic liquid with a gelling agent are produced. In such soft capsule formulations, preferably the solution is included in the hydrophobic gel, and preferably the hydrophobic gel is encapsulated with a hydrophilic film. Further preferably, the soft capsule formulations of the invention are produced by a seamless method.
