In one aspect, a solvent for pesticides comprises an ether ester of Formula 1:wherein R1 and R2 are each independently one of an alkyl group having 1 to 4 carbon atoms or an aryl group, wherein R3 is hydrogen, methyl, or ethyl, and wherein n is 1 to 6.
