PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a pharmaceutical composition for treatment of urinary system disease, which effectively controls infection and repeated seizure and promotes union of a wound on the bladder surface.SOLUTION: The composition contains 0.1-100 mg/ml of a carbon material having a diameter of 2 nm to 2 mm. The carbon material can bind to a metal granule containing at least one of platinum, palladium, gold, zinc and copper, each having a diameter of 2 nm to 2 mm. The carbon material bound to the metal granule contacts with the bladder and a relevant tissue thereof, whereby the infection and repeated seizure can be effectively controlled by the sterilizing performance and inflammation reducing effect. The composition further has an effect for promoting union of a wound on the bladder surface and relaxing the symptomatic state of a cystitis patient.
