To improve the operability of a slit lamp microscope.SOLUTION: According to an embodiment, a slit lamp microscope of an ophthalmologic system stores an illumination system, an observation system, and operation mode information on their movement. The slit lamp microscope transmits patient identification information and a data transmission request to an electronic medical chart system. The electronic medical chart system retrieves an electronic medical chart on the basis of the patient identification information and transmits an operation mode type to the slit lamp microscope. The slit lamp microscope receives the operation mode type from the electronic medical chart system, and designates an operation mode corresponding to the operation mode type.
