PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent abnormal electric discharge due to excess of moisture content, while continuing gas treatment.SOLUTION: This gas treatment device includes abnormal electric discharge detection parts 19 (19-1 and 19-2) installed to detect abnormal electric discharges for each of gas treating units GU (GU1 and GU2). A control part 18 decreases the humidification amount of a humidifier 17, when abnormal electric discharge is detected by the abnormal electric discharge detection part 19.
